Zug, Switzerland, 13/11/2023 – Stefan Jakob is to become the new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at JK Development, a leading Swiss B2B telemarketing company. Stefan Jakob will play a pivotal role in the further development of the company in the DACH region.
JK Development has appointed Stefan Jakob as Chief Revenue Officer. In his new position, Jakob will assume strategic responsibility for sales growth in the DACH region.

Stefan Jakob can look back on an impressive professional career, which underlines his commitment to and passion for Sales and Marketing. He started his career at the age of 20 with a role as Business Development Manager in B2B telemarketing, a position that also marked the start of his successful career in sales. Over the years, Stefan Jakob has worked in various sectors, always with great success, including production, retail and consulting, holding positions such as Head of Sales & Marketing and Head of Sales & Business Development. In parallel to his professional career, he has completed his academic education, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a particular focus on Strategic Marketing. Stefan Jakob is currently expanding his knowledge even further – he is doing a Master’s degree in Sales Excellence.

The acquisition of the operational business marks another milestone for JK Development and enables a significant expansion of their in-house databases and services in the DACH region; this includes self-developed software, technology and customer base acquisition. All employees of itconnections GmbH will also be taken on.
JK Development was founded in 2012. The company currently employs 150 people and is considered one of the leading providers of B2B telemarketing, inside sales and customer care services, as well as specialized company addresses and database services, in Switzerland. In the meantime, the company, which specializes in telemarketing, has gained a foothold throughout the DACH region: JK Development, headquartered in Munich, has been present on the German market since 2018 and in Austria, from their head office in Vienna, since 2021. The consolidation of the address databases results in the largest database of job titles in Switzerland. The resulting database not only secures the corresponding economies of scale, but also brings the quality and up-to-dateness of the data to new levels.
Thanks to the acquisition, the consolidated databases include company addresses from all industries and countries, with a focus on the DACH region: the databases contain over 1 million complete addresses of companies from Switzerland, more than 6 million from Germany and over 600,000 from Austria. Both companies, JK Development and itconnections, maintain the highest standards of data protection and GDPR compliance.
Itconnections GmbH from Frauenfeld, Switzerland, has been operating as a brand of JK Development Holding AG since 1 July 2023. JK Development Holding AG can thus clearly expand its core competence in database services. In addition to the sale of company addresses, the company also offers a best-in-class service for enriching, updating and optimizing company-owned inventory databases. The scope of services will go one step further in the future: company addresses will be offered as a service and as a subscription.

Zug, 24/07/2023 – JK Development, a leading Swiss company in B2B telemarketing, is acquiring the renowned MarketingPoint AG, with retroactive effect from 1 January 2023. The acquisition marks a significant milestone in the corporate history of JK Development and enables an expansion of business activities and a deepening of its portfolio. Both companies will continue to operate under their own names until further notice. The acquisition is due to a succession plan, so MarketingPoint’s owners will remain with the company until they retire and step down in 2026.

In the meantime, the telemarketing specialist has gained a foothold throughout the DACH region: JK Development, headquartered in Munich, has been operating in Germany since 2018 and in Austria from Vienna since 2021. MarketingPoint AG, based in Thurgau, was founded in 2003, specialising in new customer acquisition, and it currently employs 15 people, all of whom will be taken on.
Thanks to the acquisition of MarketingPoint AG, JK Development is now in a position to further deepen its portfolio. Both companies have built reputations within the IT industry and elsewhere in a variety of ways. The synergy between the companies will enable JK Development to provide its customers with an even wider range of services.
The acquisition will lead to a significant expansion of its service offerings. In addition to proven telemarketing services, additional services can now be provided, including customer communication and sales training, company seminars, customer surveys, as well as analysis workshops for new customer acquisition and specialised training within the IT sector.
